Experience

Experience: I began tutoring in high school. I worked with between 5 and 7 underclassmen, middle and primary students each year. I have experience 4-9th grade math, science, language arts as well as ACT prep. I scored a 3 on both the AP Calculus and AP Chemistry exams. I scored a cumulative score of 29 on the ACT. I want to be a tutor because as a classroom teacher, I understand the challenge faced by struggling students. At my own school I work with students struggling in my class and give them intervention regularly. I would like to be able to extend this to students outside of my own classroom to help them build confidence and succeed.
